Inspired by the homeowner’s appreciation of European hotels they stayed at while traveling, this small hall bath was completely renovated and updated in a minimalistic style.
The existing shower and closet were removed to make way for a larger shower and some tall building in cabinetry. The vanity area was recessed into an existing niche area with a built-in medicine chest above. By floating the vanity off the floor, the space now feels larger than it actually is. The walls are completely covered in a dark porcelain material to make the dramatic contrast with the white sink and lighter floor tiles.
The end result is a bathroom that really makes a statement while also offering a sense of a zen-like spa.
This bathroom was part of a condo kitchen renovation, to see more details of the finished project click here.
