Supposedly, these are the hues that will set the tone in the most luxurious remodeled living spaces in the year ahead. Paint companies tend to lead the way with their bold self-proclamations and then designers dive into new projects. Will the paint company prognostications prove true? Pantone’s Color of the Year 2024: Peach Fuzz 13-1023
The infamous Pantone color of the year has finally been announced, and we are here for it. The color Peach Fuzz is described as a color that captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It’s a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul. Executive director of Pantone Leatrice Eiseman states, “In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance. Paint maker Benjamin Moore has revealed their eagerly awaited Color of the Year for 2024: Blue Nova 825. The brand celebrates this celestial-inspired shade with a touch of poetic flair! In a statement, the director of color marketing and development, Andrea Magno, characterized Blue Nova 825 as a captivating mid-tone that harmonizes the allure of depth and mystery with timeless charm and a comforting quality.
Benjamin Moore’s 2024 Color Palette
Softly saturated with a nuanced approach to contrast, the Benjamin Moore Color Trends 2024 palette takes inspiration from “the hues experienced through travels and moments that span beyond routine.”

Sherman Williams calls Upward “a breezy, blissful blue – The color found when we slow down, take a breath, and allow the mind to clear.”
PPG’s 2024 Color of the Year: Limitless
According to PPG’s color guru for the Glidden brand: “Limitless contains both the power of a primary color and the essence of a neutral to support both cool and warm tones. It even has the power to stand on its own. The possibilities are truly Limitless.”
Graham & Brown’s 2024 Color of the Year: Viridis
The British paint maker’s 2024 Color of the Year Viridis is described by Architectural Digest as “an effervescent take on a mid green, forging a connection between interior and exterior worlds while tapping into the hue’s sense of freshness and optimism.
Valspar’s 2024 Color of the Year: Renew Blue
Valspar Director of Color Marketing Sue Kim says, ” The concept of home is evolving to include a feeling as well as a physical place.” The company describes Renew Blue as a “nourishing, green-influenced blue that creates a sense of peace wherever you place it.”
Dunn-Edwards’ 2024 Color of the Year: Skipping Stones
Dunn-Edwards says Skipping Stones is “a serene and steely blue with hints of green and grey that emulates the meditative, yet energizing feeling of the sea. The regenerative shade perfectly captures a collective yearning to slow down and achieve balance and tranquility in the year to come.”
HGTV Home by Sherman Williams’ 2024 Color of the Year: Persimmon
Part of HGTV Home by Sherman Williams’ 2024 Collection of the Year, Persimmon is a mid-tone terracotta with tangerine tones that’s more muted than the actual autumnal fruit’s complexion.
Dutch Boy’ 2024 Color of the Year: Ironside
