Basia Kozub

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in interior design, Basia began her career designing at The Chicago Merchandise Mart, helping homeowners and builders alike with everything from selecting sophisticated tile designs, materials, and finishes to floor plans, layouts and pricing.

At Drury Design she has worked closely alongside Drury Design founder Gail Drury, CMKBD, for over five years creating work that has earned the acclaim of clients, design peers, and the press. Her innate skill for space planning, color, and design have become integral to the success of Drury Design.

Basia gets her design inspiration from her clients. “Our approach here at Drury Design is very interactive,” she says. “We listen closely to our clients to uncover their ideas and goals with a systematic, time-tested process and series of meetings to provide specific design solutions that meet their needs. In the end, each of our final custom client design projects is as unique as our clients.”

Basia looks at every design as a new challenge and enjoys the opportunity to merge her creativity with her technical knowledge. “I believe a perfect design is achieved when you find the ideal balance between functionality and beauty,” she adds. “I really enjoy working with clients’ ideas and goals and transforming their spaces into beautiful new living areas.”
