Quartz
Quartz is easy to maintain and clean, requiring only soap and water or cleaners like Windex, and quartz maintains its sheen and color with little effort.
As a very durable surface material, quartz is resistant to scratches, burns, and stains, and you can place hot pots and pans directly out of the burner onto quartz.
Cost
Cost is comparable to mid-range granites (in the D-E price levels).
Selection and Installation
Most quartz colors are readily available, and quartz is an eco-friendly product because it is usually quarried in the United States. All the water used in the fabrication of the slab material is recycled.
Drury designers have used quartz in this kitchen design, which features Cambria Torquay with an ogee edge.
