Copper
Copper is often used in bar tops and butlers’ pantries, and its colors vary from a bright “penny” color to acid and weather-etched options, creating unique finishes and designs.
Copper is primarily used in traditional and transitional styles, while the bright copper, sealed to maintain color, may be incorporated into more contemporary designs. Please note that since copper is poisonous, we do not recommend it as a general kitchen countertop; rather, it’s better suited to areas where foods are served rather than prepared.
Maintenance
Copper requires only soap and water to maintain.
Cost
Copper has a mid-range price point, comparable to C-D granite levels.
Durability
Copper is considered a living finish, meaning that it will change colors and hues over time and that it will dent and ding.
