Ceramic
Ceramic tile can be used to cover walls, ceilings, countertops, showers, and backsplashes.
Made from natural clay, sand, and water, ceramic tile is non-porous and doesn’t hold stains, making it easy to clean and maintain. Ceramic tile is known for its natural red terra-cotta finish and may feature a glazed finish.
Cost
Ceramic tile is inexpensive compared to other design materials.
Durability and Maintenance
Ceramic is delicate and not very durable. It should not be used outdoors because of its high moisture content.
Installation
Ceramic tile can be used in oddly-shaped areas that require more special cuts, and installation of ceramic tile is relatively easy.
