Family Owned Drury Design
Our History
Founded in 1987 by Gail Drury, Drury Design built on a decade of sales success. With Gail at the forefront of the company, Drury quickly outgrew its small headquarters. In 1992, the ribbon was cut on what would one day become the Drury Design showroom in Glen Ellyn.
Gail’s husband Jim Drury joined her in 2001 after a successful career in national television advertising and sales management. Jim’s initial project was managing the big move from their tiny studio office to a spacious showroom fit to showcase Drury’s designs.
Jim led the transformation of the former Cottington’s Furniture building into the current Drury Design studio at 512 North Main Street in Glen Ellyn. With over 8500 sq ft of design splendor, the showroom is home to over two thousand completed projects, hundreds of client testimonials, dozens of design awards and over a dozen employees.
A measure of success isn’t in the awards and the portfolio. No, our true measure of success is in the way we make our clients feel. And with our Client-Focused Design™ process, we focus on building dreams and longterm luxury.
Dream it. Design it. Love it.
