Vintage Chicago style was the perfect fit for a kitchen remodel in a classic Chicago condo overlooking the historic Navy Pier Ferris wheel, Shedd Aquarium and The Field Museum. Key elements in the transitional-style kitchen include white cabinetry with a touch of gray and a marble tile backsplash set in a herringbone pattern and outlined by shiny stainless steel.
On one side of the room, a mirrored refrigerator amplifies the kitchen, while a hickory countertop accentuates the other. With a sink and wine refrigerator, half of the island is designated for food prep; the other serves as informal dining space. Above it all sparkles a lovely chandelier.
