A highlight of the Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry line, the Ruskin series of cabinets evokes classical architecture – but with a uniquely modern visual language. This new transitional kitchen display design in the Drury Design showroom sets out to capture that spirit, evoking both classical structures and more modern movements with its sense of balance and ordered beauty.

Perimeter cabinets are finished in soft Nimbus paint, then topped with man-made engineered stone in a soft gray. The armoire in rift cut oak with textured brushed finish adds contrast on the adjacent wall, while the center island introduces a third color: its cabinetry is crafted in walnut with a rich English Saddle stain. Dark walnut mullions also frame out the glass in the upper wall cabinets, echoing the darker shades of the island cabinetry.

The Ruskin series is inspired by the temples and cathedrals of classical architecture, and that same emphasis on symmetry is a key component in this kitchen design. Visitors are left with the sense that in this kitchen, as in all good design, everything is in its right place.
