Designers Gail Drury and Ginny Blasco collaborated on this Winnetka kitchen update for an artistic homeowner. The wish list of desired features was long: high-tech appliances, a walk-in pantry, stained glass panels and a built-in banquette.
The result is an eye-catching space that incorporates wish list items with unexpected twists, such as a hammered zinc hood and glossy, lacquered red island. The design includes three separate work zones–one for cooking, another for prep and a clean-up/breakfast bar area.
